Bluetti vs EcoFlow (2026)
Bluetti vs EcoFlow compared size for size: three matched pairs from 1 to 3 kWh with dated prices, price per Wh, warranty terms and a pick for each buyer.
On this page
The short answer
At PreppedPower we do not name one brand the winner here, because the better choice depends on what you will run and how you will charge. Pick EcoFlow if you want to add batteries later or start motors: the DELTA 3 and DELTA 3 Ultra Plus both take extra batteries where their Bluetti rivals cannot, both publish more surge, and in the two smaller pairs EcoFlow publishes the faster UPS switchover. Pick Bluetti if stated battery life or solar input at 2 kWh matters: it publishes a cycle rating for every model here, while EcoFlow publishes none for the DELTA 3 Max or DELTA 3 Ultra Plus, and the Elite 200 V2 takes far more solar input than the DELTA 3 Max. Prices move, so judge cost on the dated price per rated Wh in each pair.
Which one, for you
| If you… | Start here | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Starting small and adding batteries later | EcoFlow | The DELTA 3 and DELTA 3 Ultra Plus accept EcoFlow extra batteries. Bluetti says the AC180, Elite 200 V2 and Elite 300 are not expandable. In the middle pair neither model expands. |
| Starting a fridge, pump or furnace blower | EcoFlow | EcoFlow publishes more surge in the smallest and largest pairs, and more continuous output in the largest. Bluetti publishes no surge figure for the Elite 200 V2. |
| Charging from solar panels at 2 kWh | Bluetti | The Elite 200 V2 takes much more solar input than the DELTA 3 Max. In the smallest pair the two are level, and in the largest the DELTA 3 Ultra Plus is ahead. |
| Longest stated battery life | Bluetti | Bluetti states a cycle rating for all three models. EcoFlow quotes a lifespan in years, not cycles, for the DELTA 3 Max and DELTA 3 Ultra Plus. In the smallest pair the DELTA 3 states more cycles than the AC180, to the same end point. |
| Carrying it often | Depends on size | EcoFlow is lighter in the two smaller pairs. In the largest pair the Elite 300 is the lighter station by a wide margin. |
| Feeding home circuits through a transfer switch | EcoFlow | EcoFlow lists a manual transfer switch and inlet box for the DELTA 3 Ultra Plus. Bluetti lists no transfer-switch path for the Elite 300. Either way the connection is a job for a licensed electrician. |

Questions
Is Bluetti or EcoFlow better?
Neither brand is better for everyone. EcoFlow suits you if you want to add batteries later or start a fridge or pump, because two of its three models expand and it publishes more surge and faster UPS switching at the smaller sizes. Bluetti suits you if you want a published cycle rating on every model or the most solar input at 2 kWh. Which costs less depends on the dated offer in each pair. This is based on manufacturer specs and published third-party measurements.
Why is there no cycle rating for some EcoFlow models?
EcoFlow publishes a cycle count for the DELTA 3 but not for the DELTA 3 Max or DELTA 3 Ultra Plus. For those it quotes an expected lifespan in years instead. We show the Cycle rating row as not published rather than guessing, and that is also why spec scores are not shown for those two pairs.
What are X-Boost and Power Lifting?
They are EcoFlow's and Bluetti's names for a mode that runs a resistive heating appliance above the station's rated output by lowering the voltage. They suit kettles and hair dryers, not motors. Neither is a surge rating, so use the Surge row, not the boost figure, to judge whether a fridge or pump will start.
Do Bluetti and EcoFlow have the same warranty?
Both list five years on every model on this page, but the conditions differ. Bluetti's warranty table gives the AC180, Elite 200 V2 and Elite 300 five years with no registration step, and EcoFlow gives the DELTA 3 five years outright. The DELTA 3 Max and DELTA 3 Ultra Plus get three years plus two more only when you register them in the EcoFlow app, so do that on day one.
Can the Bluetti AC180 be controlled from a phone?
Yes, but over Bluetooth only, so you need to be near it. The DELTA 3 and the other four stations on this page list both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth control.
